Calculator data
Rate calculations occur in your browser. Calculator values are saved in your browser’s local storage so your plan can remain available on the same device. RatePilot does not require an account and does not send your income, cost, tax, rate, or capacity inputs with analytics events.
Shared links
When you use the share feature, calculator values are placed in the link as query parameters. Anyone who receives that link may be able to read those values. Do not share a link containing information you consider sensitive.
Consent-based analytics
RatePilot uses Google Analytics 4 to understand page and tool usage. Analytics storage is denied by default. The site asks for your choice and stores it in your browser under ratepilot-analytics-consent. If you allow analytics, Google may process device, browser, approximate location, referral, page-view, and interaction data according to its terms. RatePilot’s custom events identify the tool or action used but exclude the financial values you enter.
Advertising
RatePilot may use Google AdSense after a valid publisher account and ad-unit identifiers are configured. Advertising storage and personalization are currently denied by default. Ad spaces remain inactive when no publisher identifiers are configured. Consent controls and this policy must be reviewed before personalized advertising is enabled.
Your choices
You can decline analytics in the site prompt. You may also clear the saved choice and calculator settings through your browser’s site-data controls, block scripts using browser settings, and avoid sharing generated links. Clearing site data will cause the consent prompt to appear again.
Policy updates
This policy will be reviewed whenever analytics, advertising, email collection, or another data processor changes. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
